How Copy Fomo handles searches, profile information and sign-in.
Searches leave your browser
A trader search is sent to Copy Fomo’s backend. When fresh data is needed, a job is processed through an operator-run connector. Copy Fomo receives profile identifiers, handles, display names, profile pictures, provider badges, eligibility fields and available Solana or EVM addresses.
Hosted data
The hosted application uses Vercel for web and API requests and Neon for the database. The database holds search jobs, cached results, profile observations and wallet mappings. These records may remain after you close the page.
Wallet addresses
Observed addresses are stored alongside the trader’s profile identifier and are not printed in search results. A trader who can be copied here trades from a public blockchain wallet: everyone who copies them can see that wallet in their own transactions, and the trades and stats shown on their profile can be matched to it. We don’t print those wallets, but we don’t promise they stay secret. A profile that can’t be copied never shows trades or stats.
Sign-in and browser storage
X sign-in runs through Privy. Copy Fomo never asks for a password, private key or seed phrase. The sidebar preference uses local storage.
